Optional website analytics
With your permission, PostHog measures page visits, reading engagement, navigation, code-copy actions and form progress. We strip URL query strings and fragments from behavioral events and do not send email addresses, form text, API keys or payment details. Session replay and automatic form capture are disabled.
PostHog may process technical metadata, including IP-derived approximate location, browser and device information. Consented measurement can use cookies and browser storage to recognize returning browsers. Essential-only browsing does not require optional analytics.
Newsletter and API submissions
Newsletter addresses and API review requests are stored in our Google Cloud Firestore database. We use them to send requested updates or respond to your submission. A repeated successful request is not necessarily a new subscriber.
For access, correction, unsubscribe or deletion requests, email faizank@docsalot.dev. Please identify the address or submission involved.
Search API accounts and payments
Search trials use separate account, usage and payment-verification records. Stripe handles card details; website behavioral analytics does not record card-entry or personal account pages. The search trial privacy notice and trial terms provide the product-specific details.
Operational records
Our hosting provider processes request and security logs to operate the site, investigate failures and prevent abuse. These records are separate from optional behavioral analytics. Do not put credentials or private information in public page URLs.
