Search API privacy notice
Updated October 24, 2026. This notice covers search API trials, use and earlier reservations, not every service operated by All Them APIs.
Account and trial information
We store your email, selected API use case, estimated monthly volume, accepted terms/version, timestamps, verification status, trial credits and usage in Google Cloud Firestore. Campaign labels identify the page you used. Your email is used for account support, not an unrelated newsletter. Raw API keys are not stored in Firestore; the server stores a hash and can securely derive your key for your private access page.
Stripe handles card verification
Card details are entered on hosted Stripe checkout, never in our form. We record checkout references, successful verification and a keyed, non-reversible hash of Stripe's card fingerprint to enforce one trial per card. We do not store card numbers, security codes, billing addresses, expiry dates or last-four digits. After verification we remove the saved payment method and temporary customer from Stripe. Stripe may retain legally required and security records under its policies. No payment or future charge is authorized.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement
If you allow measurement, PostHog receives events such as viewing the page, opening checkout, activating your trial, copying the agent prompt or key, and completing a search. Copy events never include clipboard contents. Properties include an opaque identifier, entry intent, use-case category, volume band, result counts and remaining credits, not your email, query text, private access link or card details. Session replay and automatic input capture are disabled for this experiment.
With the same permission, we retain supplied Google click identifiers to attribute a verified trial to an ad. We do not send hashed emails for enhanced conversions or upload prospect lists. If you choose essential only, the trial still works and click identifiers are removed from the stored submission. Landing-page preferences apply to new submissions; measurement of an existing trial uses the permission saved when it was created. Live searches and providers
Authenticated searches and the private trial form send your query, country and language to our search provider to return results. Do not submit passwords, tokens or sensitive personal information. Queries and response results are cached in private Firestore records for retry protection, with automated deletion eligibility after 24 hours; deletion may take additional time. We retain credit totals, trial-abuse fingerprints and operational timestamps to manage access. Query text, API keys and search results are not sent to analytics.
Example searches and preview mode
The public landing-page example stays in your browser and selects illustrative results; it is not a live query. Site-preview activation does not collect a card or create a trial. Sandbox records and keys are isolated from live accounts. Session replay and automatic input capture are disabled on search API pages.
Access and deletion
Account records are restricted to authorized operators and server processes. Closing your trial disables its API key. Email faizank@docsalot.dev for account recovery, key compromise, access, correction or deletion. We may verify ownership. Service-provider records are subject to their own retention policies. No customer list, query history or private access link is published.
