Search API trial terms

Free trial access

Successful card verification through Stripe activates 1,000 free search credits and a private API key, limited to one trial per email and card. Do not create additional accounts to bypass trial or service limits. Previous early-access reservations are not automatically converted to trials; the current terms must be accepted.

No charge or automatic billing

No purchase, subscription, automatic top-up or future charge is authorized by trial activation. We remove the saved Stripe payment method after verification. Your bank may show a temporary verification authorization. We do not receive card numbers or security codes. A keyed, non-reversible card fingerprint is retained to prevent duplicate trial claims.

Search scope and credits

The endpoint returns up to ten ordered web results containing titles, URLs and snippets, in US English. Positions are the order of our response, not a guaranteed match to a particular search engine. Full-page extraction, AI answers, maps, shopping and images are not included. The public landing-page example is illustrative; authenticated API requests and the private trial search form run live searches.

A successful nonempty search uses one credit. Failed and empty searches do not. Trials allow ten requests per minute and one concurrent request; shared service limits can pause access. Availability and relevance are not guaranteed. Do not send secrets or sensitive personal information in queries. Keep your API key and private access link confidential.

After the trial

Requests stop when credits run out; no card is charged. Additional credits are priced at $1 USD per 1,000 successful searches, with a $10 minimum top-up, arranged through the team. Self-service purchases are not enabled yet. Any future purchase requires a separate explicit agreement. Trial activation is not permission for future billing.

Close access or request deletion

Use Close trial on your private page to disable API access, or email faizank@docsalot.dev. We may verify ownership before disclosing, recovering or deleting account information. Closing a trial does not create eligibility for another free trial.
