Shorts research is not the same as a complete YouTube Data API replacement. Check the returned video format before combining this data with long-form channel statistics.
Start with a single-post or creator read when the task already has a URL. Use search or a hashtag feed for discovery. Choose research jobs for deeper analysis and tracking for repeated observations.
Store collection time, platform and stable source IDs. Null fields, unavailable posts and incomplete pages should remain visible in your downstream analysis rather than being replaced with fabricated values.
