What it took to get API access
These are dated observations from our account setup, separated from provider documentation and universal product claims.
Email verification; our address recovered an existing organization
- Official API-group setup documentation asks for a credit card
- Existing keys were left masked and untouched
- Benchmark cost could not be isolated from the existing balance
Same protocol, three repetitions per task.
We used English queries, provider-default geography, ten requested results, a 30-second timeout, and the provider's native Search endpoint. Results were normalized to title, URL, snippet, and publication date before evaluation.

What this report does not prove
The credential belonged to an existing API organization, so this run does not establish new-account setup friction or starting credit. It also does not establish global reliability, semantic answer quality, or autonomous integration success.
