Exa API benchmark
Passed every retrieval attempt and recorded the lowest median latency in all three cases on this machine.
Primary source ranked first every time.
Each task ran three times. A pass required at least five valid results, 80% snippet coverage, and an expected primary source within the top five.

Same protocol, three repetitions per task.
We used English queries, provider-default geography, ten requested results, a 30-second timeout, and the provider's native Search endpoint. Results were normalized to title, URL, snippet, and publication date before evaluation.

What this report does not prove
Date metadata appeared on one third of normalized results. Lower observed latency here is not a global performance or reliability claim. It also does not establish global reliability, semantic answer quality, or autonomous integration success.
